Fondation Felizia

When our daughter "Felizia" reached her teenage years, our life was turned upside down: her health deteriorated abruptly, catapulting us into the complex reality of autism.

We experienced isolation, the maze of administrative hurdles, and the pain of watching our own child suffer. But we decided to fight. By pooling all our energy, we searched relentlessly for solutions to give her the life she deserves.

The first miracle

The first miracle grew out of our own hands with the founding of our workshop "La Maison du Tissage" (the Weaving House). Against all expectations, thread and loom became powerful therapeutic tools for Felizia. Through this craft she transformed, overcame numerous obstacles, and dramatically reduced the impact of her disability. Overjoyed by this victory, we opened this space to the public, so that other children – with or without a disability – could share the magic of this beautiful craft together.

A foundation to pool our strength

Strengthened by these years of research, setbacks, and successes, we gained valuable insight. We know exactly which phases you are going through. To spare you the loneliness we once experienced, we are today launching "Fondation Felizia". Our goal is to save you valuable time through four concrete areas of action:

• Therapeutic approaches: We guide you through key complementary approaches, from biomedicine (functional integrative medicine) to neurological treatments and specific interventions.
• Financial relief: We help you identify possible sources of financing and administrative support, so you receive the assistance you are entitled to.
• Educational pathways: We point you towards the educational or school form that best suits your child.
• Support organisations: We point you towards a trustworthy network of national and local institutions and structures ready to ease your everyday life.

A community for more effective mutual support

We no longer want any family to feel helpless when facing autism and/or neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD)! Our ambition is to build a strong network in which one person's experience becomes a support for others. By sharing our strength and lived experience, we can break through isolation and give our children a more carefree future. Let us walk the path towards an easier everyday life together.
